Users record their entries using hardware or software readers. Entry types (arrival, departure, break, etc.) are important for calculating worked hours and for tracking employee movement (e.g. in the presence overview). User verification is done via facial recognition, fingerprint, card or chip scan, or by entering a PIN. Most hardware readers also capture a photo along with the entry, which not only enables later access verification but also helps generate various types of reports.
In the reader administration section, you can add new readers or edit existing ones. For more information, select a specific reader model.
HW terminals
Installing HW terminals is simple. All purchased hardware readers come pre-configured — just connect them to a power source and the internet.
You can add a hardware reader to the system using the activation key provided with the purchased device (Activate product code). Alternatively, any reader can be added by clicking the Add button.
To pair a reader in the SYSDO system with a specific hardware device, a unique IMEI number is used. For the readers to send data, they must be connected to the internet and have correct communication settings with our server.
All software readers are included in the license free of charge and can be used in unlimited numbers. The virtual terminal can be accessed through any web browser, the mobile terminal is available for smartphones with Android or iOS, and the application terminal is a dedicated app optimized for tablets running Android.
The access terminal controls door entry using a card or chip and sends the access record to the system.

Incorrect communication settings with our server
Reader is not connected to the internet
Internal network settings blocking communication, e.g., firewall or port blocking (ports 4000 and 123)
