Requests

Requests simplify and streamline communication between employees and their attendance managers. With requests, employees can apply for various types of (non)attendance. Attendance managers are notified of new requests by email, and employees are also informed of the request’s resolution via email.

Employees submit requests through the web or mobile application by selecting Request (zadost) on the day for which they plan their (non)attendance. They need to choose the type of plan, select the time interval, and optionally add a note.

Vacation / sick day can be requested by full days, half days, or hours, depending on the company’s settings – Administration → Company → Application → Attendance → Attendance types → Vacation and Sick day section. In this section, you can also enable the use of specific types of absences or set up funds for doctor visits and family care.

After submitting a request, all pending requests are displayed in the Plan tab on the day the request was submitted (). Once a request is approved, a new plan entry is created in the employee’s attendance (vacation, sick day, doctor visit, business leave, …), which can be viewed in the Plan tab.

Attendance managers process requests in the Requests menu (both web and mobile applications), where it is also possible to filter requests by plan type, status, section (workgroup), or by the user who submitted the request.
A request can be approved or rejected, and a pending request can be withdrawn (right arrow). For approved or rejected requests, the name of the attendance manager who processed the request is displayed.

In the request overview, the submission time and the validity of the request (the time interval of the absence plan) are also shown. While processing a request, it is possible to edit the request or add a comment.

Requests can be approved by any user who has supervision over other users enabled (AdministrationUsers → edit User → Permissions tab → Monitoring section), regardless of whether their role is User or Administrator.

In addition to requests for (non-)attendance plans, it is also possible to request access to an internal or public virtual terminal.
